Actually, this was pulled from a little anecdote about how Eleanor found a spider in the bathroom at the White House and FDR refused to kill it because he was screaming like a little girl and standing on his desk in the oval office.

I have to wonder about the accuracy of this one.
FDR had Polio, which left him in a great deal of pain when he stood, and left wheelchair bound for most of his presidency. Somehow, I can’t envision a man in his condition have the physical ability to jump up onto his desk – especially to avoid a spider.
